Completion!!

So, car accident and all. I'm still surviving!! Hurting, trying to be the fighter that I am, and getting on with it. I know that it's a lot more than the surface, body knows that too! But I will keep up the pace until there's a stone above my head!!! Tracey's quilt is done, the bag that Stephanie so inspired us to do, is complete! Then I knitted a small pocket book for a doll for Steph that I felted. made a cord for and as I have been told is too damn cute!!!!!!! Need to show the other gals that can knit how to do it. I made 2 more, haven't had a chance to catch my breath!! So now there is a new email address, phone and all kinds of stuff that kept me doing what I really wanted to do today. Go to the doctor first and then start dolls....Yeah. Will be back to the dolls before the doc's!

Nearing completion

Am busy tying up all the loose ends here, to start dollmaking with a vengeance. I'm itching and burning to get done here and move on. The blanket is near the end, fiber collage purse is finished, just waiting on beads to do the trim on it. Stephanie was so inspirational teaching us this fabric collage technique!!! It's awesome and I think that I'll incorporate this on the new doll I'm visioning!

Regaining control

Lately things have been so bogged down that I feel as if I am not accomplishing anything but too many things all at the same time. So over the last few days I made a decision to clear out all of the excess and get back to my dolls. The dolls were the beginning of this journey from day one. Sometimes we have this tendency to get caught up in the here and now enthusiasm, lose focus, and flounder about. This week I will be spending the time to finish the beautiful wool throw that I have been knitting for my daughter. Start creating once again within my mind's eye and let go of the chatter that is so cluttering up my creative spirit.

Now going to use this blog as an inspirational outlet for my thoughts, not programs or club stuff. I write enough of that to begin with for so many others. Claiming this space as my space!!!

Fibers, trim, cloth, skin and hair
All the fixins to be hoarded in my lair. . .
Gathering friendships and love is the fare,
While my dreams become creations that can take me anywhere !
